Procrastination-to put off till another day or time; defer; delay.
I've been writing this 20 page essay for the past couple of weeks for my composition class. The paper is within completions reach, but procrastination is in effect right about now! My term paper is due on the 12th of May. That gives me only one week to complete and turn it in. I don't know exactly what it is about waiting to do something at the last minute, I guess most people just work better under pressure. I label procrastination as a type of mental illness. Its not curable and the side-affects can cause stress and anxiety. The best possible way to avoid catching a case of procrastination is to plan ahead of time. Planning will save you the stress and time you need in completion of any task that lies ahead of you. Just food for thought....
